Jackson Hole 2013

We got to get away over the 4th of July and escape to beautiful Jackson Hole! It was an amazing get away and much needed from our hectic work life. It was fun to disconnect from computers and enjoy the great outdoors with great friends. I love having the opportunity to slow down, sit back and enjoy the things in life that can easily be over looked as you go about your day to day. It's funny, Ryan and I work together everyday, but we surprisingly rarely see each other, and talk because we are both so busy taking care of our responsibilities. It was great to spend one on one time with each other away from our stresses. 

 

 Yep, thats me, your regular Ol' Mountain Goat! The last time I rode this trail I was really nearly in tears because it was so challenging for me. This time, besides dying of heat, I conquered the trail!

 On the 4th we hiked up to Phelps Lake. On our Hike we ran into this little bear cub. To our surprise there were 2 cubs. Thanks to Schweppe, he convinced the mama bear into leaving us alone yelling "don't eat me, I don't have any meat on my bones."

On the night of the 4th, we went into town to the base of Snow King. Old Crow Medicine Show was playing some great music, the boys played some Corn Hole, and us girls chatted and danced! We finished the night with probably the best fireworks around! 

For our last day, we went up to this waterfall, after we got ourselves some ice cream of course!

I'm already ready to go back!! It was an amazing weekend, and we really don't get away and take in this beauty enough!
